Their medicine does not heal them, simply because their medicine is fabricated within cold laboratories with a selfish agenda, while God’s medicine is designed and created in heaven with warmth and love and a healing agenda. One can only heal within an atmosphere of love… an atmosphere saturated with the fragrances of God. Just by setting foot in any hospital… with what fragrance and what atmosphere is this building saturated? Pleasant? No. It is filled with a smell of lab chemistry and an atmosphere of fear. Moreover, it feels creepy and like death itself. What fragrance is Paul referring to in 2 Corinthians 2:15-17? 2 Corinthians 2:15-17 “ 15 For we are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. 16 To the one we are an aroma that brings death; to the other, an aroma that brings life. And who is equal to such a task? 17 Unlike so many, we do not peddle the word of God for profit. On the contrary, in Christ we speak before God with sincerity, as those sent from God.” – New International Version And why does Paul use the metaphor of fragrance here when he talks about life and death? People run away from foul smells, but pleasant ones they are attracted to. This verse of course strictly deals with Paul’s message… his Gospel of Christ. Those who do not like the ‘smell’ of Paul’s message of Christ’s universal atonement at Golgotha ( Hebrews 2:17 ), simply runs away… shooting themselves in the feet with slowly-fatal wounds. Hebrews 2:17 is a classic example where “might” is added to instil doubt. In the original Greek, “might” is NOT reflected at all. And... there are many more verses like these, but which will be discussed later. Just by mere walking into nature, whether in a forest, or in a garden… lovely fragrances of God are inhaled and the feeling of well-being is immediately experienced. Why? Because tiny volatile molecules such as α-pinene, germacrene-D, 1,8-cineole, citronellol, etc. are making their way via our olfactory system right into our brains within seconds! Healing starts the moment they reach our blood stream. And hospitals… do people at all proclaim to enjoy going to hospitals (or doctor’s rooms for that matter)? No they dread it. Because of fear. But they go nevertheless, because they rather put their trust in doctors, than running the risk to die… hoping for the best. Hospitals are filled with anxiety… and super bugs. Super bugs are intelligent creatures, created by God Himself. How many people know this? Super bugs flourish because of their masterful adaption around readable [dumb] lab molecules made by man. Doctors in the medical arena are totally relying on the pharmaceutical industry, because that is their ONLY means of treatment… drugs. A drug is called “pharmacon”. “φάρμακον” in Greek. Another word for it is “poison”. And the ‘bible’ of the pharmaceutical industry is called “pharmacopoeia”, which means “witchcraft” in Greek. And what is witchcraft? Witchcraft is an occult practice that only always has to do with darkness… with the unseen. Drugs are seemingly doing a good job by killing uncomfortable symptoms. Seemingly? Yes, because this ‘good’ job is only obscuring all the ‘behind-the- scene’ activities within our bodies that catalyse side- effects of damages done by the very drug that kills the primary symptom. And where do these side-effects come from? From an enzymatic system called Cytochrome P450 (CYP). CYP is a hemeprotein, an enzyme that primarily metabolises drugs. The biggest headache for drug producers is the drug- drug interactions. When a certain drug inhibits a metabolising enzyme for another drug, there is a huge safety issue at hand. When these two drugs are co- administered to the human body, then the exposure of the other drug will be much higher with that drug dosage at a level that can be life-threatening to the patient. Cytochrome P450 enzymes can be inhibited or induced by drugs, which results in unanticipated adverse reactions… and therefore therapeutic failures. Drugs like warfarin, antidepressants, epileptolytics, and statins (to name only a few) involve cytochrome P450 enzymes and their interactions are a huge concern. Drug interactions, however, are not the only problem humanity faces. No. It is what is left behind in human tissue that is probably the most disconcerting side- effect of all. It is the residues of drugs, after cessation of use, that stay behind within our muscles, our connective tissue and our organs… leaving a devastating path of continual destruction. Residues of many man-made chemicals are now detectible in virtually every person. The lipophilicity of drug metabolites is what is keeping them encapsulated within tissues. These metabolites are disposed in tissues high in fat content. Like brain- and adipose tissue. See, playing with drugs is playing with fire. And did Jesus not say what He said in… 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 “ 16 Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in your midst? 17 If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy that person; for God's temple is sacred, and you together are that temple. – New International Version An awareness of what is beneficial and what is destructive must be cultivated. The Bible explicitly states in… Philippians 1:10 “so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ,” – New International Version The clinical world of medicine is cold, tense and cumbersome… where God’s world is warm, relaxed and simple. Just by strolling in a garden or a forest (for free), one can inhale God’s healing terpene molecules to one’s heart’s desire. There is never an overdose. There are only feelings of well-being. Moreover… none of these gazillion molecules have any adverse effects as a result. There is a Godly synergy at work… with no chaos. God’s world is all about order and peace. In God’s healing world there are no package inserts, or instruction leaflets. Simply because in His world application is easy, there is safety and there are no ill side-effects. In God’s healing world there is only love. Take note… no mention of “healing” in man’s world was made. Healing means total healing. Healing means wholeness. Healing means freedom and peace. In the event of anyone in the clutches of drugs, just know that it is never too late to make a turnaround. It is never too late to have the eye only fixed upon the future… upon Jesus Christ… who IS our future.
